Not sure why I kept these after returning 2 other pair due to sizing issues. Between multiple returns due to sizing of these and a pair of Asics Solution Speeds, I think I was just over shoe shopping. I wear a size 12 normal shoe, and in tennis shoes, I typically have to go to 13 as 12's are too small and 12.5's usually are not quite big enough either. With Asics and Nike, the 13's are usually fine with gel inserts. with the Diadoras, the size difference between the 12.5 and 12 was negligible. I honestly thought I had received another set of 12s, they felt exactly the same. When I got the 13s I couldn't believe how there was such little different. They are just barely large enough. So close, in fact that I nearly returned them due to sizing again. However, since In a pinch of needing shoes, after my last set of Tennis shoes died, and multiple returns, I decided to keep them. So that's my first gripe. Not so much a gripe, but an observation, these shoes are a bit heavier than my other Tennis shoes so that's another knock but something I'm not that overly concerned with. My 2nd biggest gripe is the break-in. After several hours of court time, running around in these, they simply refuse to break in. I finally threw in the towel and broke down and bought a different brand/style of tennis shoes. Frankly, I'm at fault for "settling" on this shoes due to frustrations of trying to buy a shoe online when there was no way to find them locally.
